Warehouse Operations Manager 

£65K pro rata | 3-month FTC | Immediate Start | Onsite near Gatwick

We’re partnering with a high-growth 3PL business near Gatwick as they enter peak and they need a senior operational lead who can hit the ground running.

This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role with strategic clout. You’ll be responsible for the full day-to-day warehouse operation - from B2C & B2B fulfilment to returns, staffing, standards and service - while also owning key projects that shape the future of the site.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading daily fulfilment ops across pick, pack, ship, returns and value-add

• Driving performance through team leadership, labour planning, and SLA control

• Owning the design and delivery of a new mezzanine floor, ensuring the space is configured for peak efficiency

• Supporting the onboarding of new clients, aligning processes and capacity with expectations

• Maximising use of the WMS (Mintsoft) and holding high standards of stock accuracy

• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, efficient and reset for the next day - every day

You’ll bring:

• 5–10 years of leadership in ecom or 3PL fulfilment environments

• Proven track record managing high-volume teams and warehouse change projects

• Strong understanding of warehouse design, layouts, flow and racking optimisation

• Confidence in customer onboarding and cross-functional collaboration

• A commercial mindset, operations toolkit, and sleeves-rolled-up style

This is a 3-month fixed-term contract designed to get this business through peak and lay the groundwork for continued growth.
