Interim Warehouse Operations Manager (Immediate Start) 

Location: Chesterfield (On Site)

Rate: £350 - £400 a day

Duration: 8 - 12 weeks 


IMPACT EVOLVE are hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager for a high impact, short term contract with a leading manufacturing organisation in Chesterfield. This is an opportunity to step into a key operational role within a fast paced production environment, supporting warehouse stability, efficiency, and flow over an 8 to12 week period.

This role is the operational heartbeat between procurement and production. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all materials are received accurately, stored properly, and issued to production in a timely and traceable manner, enabling the business to meet a rapid delivery promise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and receipt goods in against POs, using ERP systems (e.g., Unleashed)

  • Maintain stock integrity and ensure materials are in correct bin locations

  • Support material kitting and ensure full kits are delivered to production on time

  • Act as the main contact between warehouse and production teams to prevent delays

  • Enforce system discipline and assist in stock movement reporting

  • Support improvements in layout, labelling, and digital tracking processes


You’ll Need

  • Experience in a manufacturing warehouse or materials control setting

  • A hands on, proactive approach and comfort with both physical and digital tasks

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Unleashed, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

  • Knowledge of BOMs, works orders, and production scheduling

  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over stock accuracy
