Build it from the ground up
A premium D2C brand is bringing their warehousing in-house, and they’re looking for a hands-on, high-impact Operations Manager to lead the charge.
This isn’t a BAU gig. This is your chance to build a warehouse function from scratch: shaping the culture, hiring the team, and setting the gold standard for how things should run.

What you’ll be doing
Take the reins from Day 1: You’ll be the on-site lead as the business transitions away from its 3PL. You won’t need to build the move plan, but you will be critical to executing it, and shaping how things operate day to day.
Own the warehouse floor: Design how the warehouse runs, build the SOPs, H&S policies and lead by example. Expect to be in the mix with your team, sleeves rolled up, standards sky-high.
Recruit, train, and lead: Build your dream team. Hire smart, set the tone, and create a high-performing, values-led culture from the start.
Keep it lean: Spot inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and continuously raise the bar. A Six Sigma mindset (with or without the badge) will serve you well.
Be the operational heartbeat: You’ll own the metrics, master the systems (WMS, dashboards, stock accuracy), and ensure everything runs like clockwork, even as volumes scale.
What we’re looking for
Operations leader with proven experience in warehousing or fulfilment, ideally within a D2C, luxury goods, or high-care environment.
Hands-on manager who leads from the floor, not just from the office.
Process builder who’s helped scale an operation (ideally through rapid growth).
Digital native who’s confident with WMS/ERP systems and can bring smart solutions, not just spreadsheets.
Natural coach & motivator with a clear, calm, no-drama style, even when things get messy.
Attention to detail that borders on obsession.
Ambition to grow - we’re looking for someone who sees this as a step on their growth journey, not the final stop.
