IMPACT EVOLVE is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, high-volume operation to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead and drive performance across a critical dispatch and outbound function.
Operating in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment, this business processes tens of thousands of orders every day and is continuing to scale rapidly. This role is ideal for a confident, hands-on operations leader who thrives on leading people, delivering results against KPIs, and creating structure and momentum in a dynamic operational setting.
The Opportunity
As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of a large operational team (circa 20–30 colleagues), with responsibility for day-to-day performance, productivity, and engagement across outbound operations.
You’ll be a visible leader on the floor. Setting standards, driving accountability, and ensuring the team consistently delivers against service, quality, and efficiency targets. Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you’ll also play a key role in improving processes, strengthening reporting, and supporting the ongoing growth of the operation.
This role suits someone who enjoys pace, challenge, and influence. Someone who can motivate teams to perform in an environment where priorities move quickly and output really matters.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations to ensure all orders and outputs are delivered on time, in full, and to required quality standards
Manage, coach, and develop a large operational team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance
Drive performance against agreed KPIs, using data and insight to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
Motivate teams to perform consistently in a fast-moving, target-driven environment
Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues, improve workflow, and enhance overall operational effectiveness
Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and team capability
Maintain strong standards around health & safety, compliance, and housekeeping at all times
About You
Proven experience leading and motivating teams within operations, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or fulfilment
A confident people leader who can set direction, challenge constructively, and drive results
Demonstrated ability to manage performance, deliver against KPIs, and maintain momentum under pressure
Strong operational understanding, with the ability to balance hands-on leadership and performance management
Clear, engaging communicator who builds trust and accountability across teams
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a business that is growing and evolving quickly
Experience within eCommerce, D2C, or use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous but not essential
Forklift licence beneficial but not required
