Job description

Performance Marketing Manager

Location: Brentwood, Essex (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000

IMPACT EVOLVE are proud to be supporting Suns Lifestyle as they hire a Performance Marketing Manager to help drive the next stage of growth.

At Suns Lifestyle, they create all-weather outdoor spaces that help people lead happier, healthier lives — from electric louvred pergolas and insanely comfy, British weather-tested furniture, through to outdoor kitchens built for anyone who feels most at home smoking steak on a kamado or turning out sourdough perfection in a wood-fired pizza oven.

This is a hands-on, high ownership role where you’ll take full control of digital acquisition and play a central part in how the business scales. If you’ve mastered Google Ads and you’re ready to step up into broader commercial ownership, cross-channel thinking and business-level impact, this could be the one.

You’ll:

  • Run paid campaigns across Google, Meta and Pinterest

  • Oversee SEO performance

  • Improve attribution and reporting

  • Provide insight that influences marketing decisions  and, over time, wider business decisions too

If you’re commercially sharp, obsessed with optimisation, and love finding new ways to win customers, this is your chance to own performance marketing end to end.

What you’ll be doing – The Journey

First 3 months – Own the channels, Build momentum

  • Take day to day ownership of paid acquisition across Google Ads + Paid Social (Meta/Pinterest), with spend, pacing and performance tracking against agreed targets

  • Deliver clear weekly/monthly reporting, showing strong grip of KPIs, what’s driving performance, and what you’re doing next

  • Complete a full Google Ads audit and put a prioritised optimisation & testing roadmap in place

  • Keep the SEO agency moving in the right direction with clear actions and accountability

  • Partner with the Brand Manager on seasonal planning, briefs and asset delivery so campaigns land on time

By 6 months – Commercial Accountability

  • Drive measurable improvements in profit contribution from paid channels vs baseline

  • Audit paid social account structure and roll out a paid social strategy & roadmap aligned to funnel roles, business priorities and performance goals

  • Improve tracking, attribution and reporting to get closer to true incremental ROAS and channel contribution

  • Make confident recommendations on monthly budget allocation by platform and objective

  • Start interpreting results beyond platform metrics, linking activity to sales, conversion and profitability

By 12 months – Strategy

  • Help deliver sustained profitable growth within agreed ROAS targets

  • Contribute to annual budget planning, including channel mix and timing based on seasonality and performance data

  • Play an active role in sales forecasting and target-setting

  • Become a trusted growth partner to senior stakeholders. Bringing proactive insight, spotting opportunities, and influencing decisions beyond daily channel management

What we’re looking for

  • 3–5 years’ experience managing digital acquisition campaigns, either in-house or agency-side, with a proven track record of driving incremental sales growth

  • Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and strong instincts for what moves performance commercially

  • Experience running paid social campaigns (Meta and/or Pinterest ideally), though we’re open to someone who can upskill quickly if the fundamentals are strong

  • An analytical mindset with solid data skills (Excel/Sheets, Looker Studio or similar); GA4/attribution exposure is a bonus, not a must

  • Commercially minded. Able to connect channel performance to wider business outcomes and take real accountability for results

  • Proactive, curious and competitive. Always testing, learning and looking for improvements

Why join?

  • Join an ambitious consumer brand with big plans for the future

  • Take real ownership of performance marketing, with freedom to test, learn and improve

  • Clear room to grow into a broader, more strategic role over time

  • Work closely with a hands-on leadership team who care about great products and customer experience

  • Competitive package & perks

IMPACT EVOLVE are committed to fairness, equity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and will provide adjustments as needed throughout the process
