WillPowders UK is a dynamic, award winning brand specialising in high quality, premium ingredients and functional powders. Their products cater to a diverse range of industries including sports nutrition, food, and beverage manufacturing, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.

The business has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years. As they continue to scale and expand they are seeking a passionate Production and Purchasing Planner to work alongside the Head of Supply Chain, ensuring smooth production operations and efficient purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Develop and manage production schedules with third-party manufacturers to meet demand and business targets. Monitor timelines, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery.
  
  

• Purchasing & Supply Management: Oversee raw material and packaging procurement, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Manage purchase orders and track deliveries.
  
  

• Inventory Control: Monitor and optimise inventory levels to ensure production readiness and minimise stock-outs.
  
  

• Forecasting: Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate demand forecasts and align production and purchasing plans.
  
  

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency improvements across production planning and purchasing processes.
  
  

• KPI Reporting: Track and report on key supply chain metrics such as on-time deliveries, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.

What We’re looking for:

• Proven experience in production planning, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  
  

• Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
  
  

• Experience with ERP/MRP software for production and purchasing.
  
  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, interpret, and optimise production metrics.
  
  

• Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
  
  

• Familiarity with sustainability practices within the supply chain.
  
  

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and third party manufacturers.
