Job description

Supply Chain & Operations Consultant

Location: UK-based | Hybrid Remote (50% on-site travel)

About Us

IMPACT EVOLVE is a hands-on supply chain and operations consultancy that helps fast-growth, founder-led brands scale with confidence. We partner with some of the UK’s most exciting businesses, including Passenger Clothing, Sneak Energy, Hawkstone Brewery, RIXO, AKT London, and many more.

We exist for brands that are growing faster than their backend can handle. Complexity is our sweet spot. We untangle the chaos, unlock control, and rebuild the operational foundations needed to scale across people, process and systems.

We don’t just advise. We get things done.

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on, analytically strong Strategy & Operations Consultant to deliver diagnostic and transformation work inside high-growth, founder-led brands.

This role is for someone who thrives in the complexity of £5m—£50m scale-ups. You’ll spend time onsite with clients, lead structured discovery, interrogate operational data, and build practical roadmaps that show how to bring control to the chaos across people, processes, and systems.

You won’t just deliver the work; you’ll also help shape how we deliver it, contributing to our internal playbooks, toolkits, and productised consulting frameworks.

This role is ideal for someone who’s been a business analyst, data analyst, or supply chain analyst, and is ready to step into a strategic, client-facing consulting role. You’ll need to be confident running the full diagnostic process, not just doing the analysis behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead diagnostic and discovery projects to assess where a business is today, what’s holding it back, and what needs to change

  • Run structured workshops with founders, senior leaders, and operational teams

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to extract insight and uncover root causes

  • Map current processes across supply chain, fulfilment, tech, and ops using tools like Miro, Lucidchart or Visio

  • Analyse operational data sets — including fulfilment accuracy, return rates, inventory performance, warehouse throughput, and service SLAs

  • Evaluate capability and maturity across people, process, systems, KPIs, and organisational design

  • Design “Target State” recommendations and sequence them into a clear, prioritised roadmap

  • Produce client-ready outputs — structured reports, slide decks, maturity scores, and visual dashboards

  • Collaborate with our internal Tech, Talent, and Delivery teams to support execution

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our frameworks, delivery tools, and IP

What We’re Looking For

Core Experience

  • 3+ years in roles such as business analyst, data analyst, supply chain analyst, or hands-on operations consultant

  • Experience working in or with eCommerce, retail, or D2C brands (ideally £5m–£50m in revenue)

  • Has worked in fast-growth, founder-led businesses where scale has outpaced structure

  • Experience building tools for operational visibility — dashboards, trackers, reporting packs, process flows

Technical Skills

  • Skilled in leading workshops and facilitating structured discovery sessions

  • Experienced in stakeholder interviews and insight-gathering techniques
Strong in process mapping (current and future state workflows)

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (modelling, pivots, lookups, structured analysis)

  • Working knowledge of at least one BI tool — e.g. Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau

  • Familiar with ERP, WMS, OMS platforms and Shopify-based eCommerce stacks

  • Hands-on experience evaluating, selecting, or implementing supply chain or ops systems

  • Strong written and visual presentation skills — confident in producing decks, dashboards, and structured documentation

Soft Skills

  • Structured, analytical thinker — distils complexity into clarity

  • Commercially aware — understands how ops links to margin, cost, and CX

  • Strong communicator — comfortable working across warehouse, ops, tech, and C-suite

  • Self-sufficient — able to own and deliver projects end-to-end

  • Fast-paced and pragmatic — thrives in imperfect environments and knows how to move

What You'll Get

  • Pension scheme

  • Laptop and tech provided

  • Home office setup budget

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

  • Quarterly in-person team days and annual offsite retreat

  • Mentorship from the founder and senior team

  • Exposure to some of the UK’s fastest-growing brands
