Job description
Supply Chain Director
Greater Manchester | £100–125k | Onsite 5 Days
Are you ready to architect a global supply chain for a scale-up that’s going stratospheric?
We’re partnering with one of the UK’s most exciting consumer brands; a high-growth, founder-led disruptor already hitting £40m+ in revenue - as they set their sights on £200m by 2027.
This isn’t your standard FMCG gig. You’ll be laying the supply chain foundations for international expansion, building a tech-enabled, demand-responsive network to serve Amazon, D2C and B2B channels across the UK, Europe, and the US!
If you thrive in high-change, high-ambition environments and want to build the engine behind a brand set to dominate globally…this is the one.
The Opportunity
You’ll be the supply chain lead for a business at the edge of explosive growth. Reporting directly to the board and working alongside commercial and finance leaders, your mission is to:
Design & deliver a global supply network that’s scalable, agile, and future-proof.
Lead 3PL strategy, fulfilment architecture, and inventory optimisation across multiple markets.
Build a robust, data-driven planning function that reduces firefighting and increases predictability.
Embed the right systems and automation - integrating WMS, ERP (Business Central), and Amazon platforms into one source of truth.
Act as the commercial lead for global supplier relationships, sourcing, contracts and scaling strategies.
Why This Role Matters
This brand is sitting on a massive opportunity with customers and retail partners already lined up across the US.
You’ll be the enabler that removes friction, unlocks service levels, and gets the business ready for international scale and future investment.
About You
Proven supply chain leader with FMCG, D2C, and Amazon FBA experience.
You've built or scaled global networks, especially across the US market.
Commercially savvy, comfortable with supplier negotiations and cost-to-serve analysis.
Systems-literate, you know how to tie together ERP, WMS, demand planning tools and e-comm platforms.
Thrive in pace, comfortable navigating ambiguity, scale-up chaos, and bold ambition.
You get energy from building systems, structures, and capability.
What Success Looks Like
Clean, accurate forecasts and a planning engine that scales.
Inventory optimised globally.
3PL’s running on time and on target.
Clear cost-to-serve metrics driving smarter decisions.
A brand ready to go global.
Location: Onsite 5 days per week in Greater Manchester
Salary: c£100,000–£125,000 + package
